Educational Leadership Program

Welcome from Dr. Wayne Lewis!
Dr. Lewis is the Doctoral Program Chair for the Educational Leadership program. Feel free to send him an email if you have any questions about the program or about planning a course of study.

Program Description

Educational organizations are becoming increasingly complex. This increased complexity is the result of globalization, changing US and world economies, increased standards and accountability measures, reduced budgets, and the rapid infusion of new technologies.

Effective leaders in these organizations play a critical role in developing capacity in their organizations, and creating strong, successful programs and services. Students wishing to pursue a degree related to leading educational organizations, but not tied to any specific licensure, can obtain a Master of Education, Education Specialist or Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership.

Features. Many of the core Educational Leadership Courses are designed to support full-time working professionals with classes conducted using a Hybrid Model (combination of online and face-to-face) or on-line only option. For the doctoral programs, an executive model of delivery is used, with most classes occurring on Saturdays.
